TLIMOT Silicon Carbide 3-Level Inverter

We engineered a multilevel Silicon Carbide converter that provides more than two voltage levels, enabling smoother and less distorted DC-to-AC power conversion for motor-drive and energy applications.

3-level inverters offer the following benefits:

• Smaller output-voltage steps that mitigate motor issues caused by long power cables between the inverter and the motor.
• Reduced surge voltages, lower dv/dt at the motor terminals, and reduced motor-shaft bearing currents.
• A cleaner output waveform, effectively doubling the switching frequency compared to the actual switching frequency.

3-level inverters use Silicon Carbide technology.
