SUPPORTED POWER BOARDS

Ready-to-use power boards and customer-specific boards

Several power boards have been tested with FPGA carrier boards and the Vivado software toolchain.

Systems based on Motor Power Boards and Controller Boards are ready to become a customer evaluation kit by simply adding the desired motor.

Customers can obtain free evaluation software and related documentation, including Vivado projects, bitstreams, or SD-card images.

Customers may request a Design Service to include their Motor Power Board in the supported list for public or private use.

TLIMOT – 3-Level Inverters

TLIMOT is a multilevel Silicon Carbide converter that provides more than two voltage levels, enabling smoother and less distorted DC–AC power conversion for motor drives and energy applications.

TEP0002 is a Trenz Electronic motor-driver board designed to be controlled through 2× PMODs.

Kria KD240 Drives Starter Kit

The AMD Kria™ KD240 Drives Starter Kit includes a non-production K24 SOM, carrier card, and thermal solution. The SOM integrates an AMD Zynq™ UltraScale+™ MPSoC, run-time memory, boot devices, an integrated power solution, and a security module. The drive-oriented carrier card provides interfaces for motor control, USB, SD card, and Ethernet.

The QDESYS motor-control software is available in three configurations:

  • Bare-metal software using Vitis 2025.1 and the QDESYS SDK
  • Petalinux 2025.1 (evaluation only)
  • Ubuntu 24.04 (evaluation only)
